De Distel
This landscape vase was painted in detail on one side, this was not unusual at the time. A painting on both sides on the same model vase can be found HERE. This vase was painted around 1915, I bought it in Australia; I always wonder how it got here. I have evidence that pottery of “the Distel” pottery was sold here in Australia around 1915, ( of course maybe also at an earlier or later date than that.)
