Paijsage windmill frontview Paijsage windmill original painter Paijsage windmill mark

This model with this type of decor was sold around 1910 for 3 guilders and 30 cents. In a way quite a high price given that a bread could be bought for 6 cents and bier for 2 cents. There is a reference on the vase to the painter of the original painting, his name is “Obepma” or something like that; the name should probably be Oberman, it was mis-spelled. Most of these decors were painted with green bands above and below the decor. This vase has brown bands, also black can be found at times.
