Both of these vases were drawn after a painting from one of the painters of the "Haagse School"  (= the Hague School). The paintings they produced all have very earthy colours, and therefore very suitable to be reproduced on pottery like Gouda. Different rural decors can be found on these vases.
Names like Anton Mauve,  Willem Maris and  Willem Roelofs are amongst those found on the vases.

The vase on the left has a reference to the original oil painting produced by Mr Gabriël.

The vase on the right was painted after a painting by Mauve. The painting is called  "Schapen met herderin in bos"  which translates into  "Sheep with shepherdess in the woods"

A bit more about the mark on these vases can be found  HERE.
