Amphora pottery

This clog was made by the Amphora pottery in the town of Oegstgeest
some 44 kilometers from the town of Gouda.
Similar to other Gouda factories also this one produced high glaze to
start with and then matte glazed pottery in later years. This clog is high
glazed, so possibly created around 1915. The pottery itself existed from
1908 - 1933.
The decor is quite detailed, the clog can also be found in museum De
Lakenhal in Leiden in the Netherlands.
