This plate was not exported to Australia, but it went to New Zealand.
Gouda Pottery was really a big export article for the Netherlands. Even
before the 1920's they started the export of pottery to overseas
countries.
This plate with the Kiwi was made for export to New Zealand. The Company
mentioned on the plate was the one organizing the import into New Zealand.
The same size plate was also produced with the decor of a Tui bird.
