The lady whose family originally owned this vase insisted that this vase
was made specifically for her family. After some Internet browsing I
managed to find 2 more vases marked with the initials of O.O. All
these vases look quite unique, and interestingly painted by the same
person, based on the same handwriting style on all 3 vases. At first
I thought that this O.O. was not a painters signature, but given the same
handwriting style, it does suggest the same painter on all 3 accounts. But
a bigger surprise was that someone helped me to identify the painter as
Francien Sanderus. Other vases exist where Francien signed with her own FS
initials, and again a 100% match in handwriting.
