The colours on this Carafe somewhat resemble those used around the 1920's;
i.e. painted on a white or crème background. But when you examine them,
you can easily tell the difference between this one and older models by of
the lack of detail.
People in the 1920’s could spend more time on the painting, labour was
cheaper then.

The word "Royal" as part of the stamp is another give-away that this vase
was not made in the 1920’s, also the colours used are different.
It is part of my collection because it was owned by my father.
Unfortunately it has a small chip on the bottom.
