This is not a Gouda clog, but what makes this clog/shoe special is:
1: it is an early one from the Delft Porceleyne fles made in 1892.
2: it is painted by Nicolaas F L Oosterhoff. He was only 14 at the time; later on a he became a distinguished painter when he worked at the “Plateel Bakkerij Delft”, he even bought the whole PBD pottery in 1923.
3: the Literature I have says that mr Oosterhoff started in 1894, but this one is from 1892.
