The mark on the left belongs to the bigger clog on the top, the mark on
the right is from the pair below.The décor name of these clogs is actually
just “Gouda”. A fair bit of this type of décor was made say
prior to 1923. The clogs come in various sizes. Sometimes the date
mark is missing and then the initials can help to work out when the
pottery was painted. Abraham Anker worked there from 1923-1930. Also
shortly after 1923 these decors were no longer painted.
