Rozenburg pottery
Decor: flower Year: 1905. High:
5.5cm. Wide: 12cm Painted
by: Sam Schellink.
This clog was painted in the first pottery to ever produce "Gouda" i.e.
the Rozenburg Pottery. I have displayed both the front and the back of
this clog to show the detail of the painting. The painting was done by Sam
Schellink. The black handwritten symbol on the left indicates the year in
which this one was made, i.e. 1905. The "S" with the vertical line through
it is a monogram he often used.
