Model 310 Decor: Laughing Jackass Year: 1915.
High: 30cm. Wide: 11cm Painted
by: CAP = Cornelis Abraham Prins.
This vase was painted by Mr C.A.P Prins, who always used his
initials CAP strung together, sometimes surrounded by a circle. Mr Prins
worked there for a few times. The second period between 1911 and 1915.
The words Zuid-Holland are normally found on items created before say 1915
and destined to be sold in Holland. Also for this vase someone
decided to add the words "Dutch Art Pottery" and "Laughing Jackass" to the
mark. They did that before the vase was fired again, apparently this vase
was meant to go to Australia after all. (The little Gouda house is still
vaguely visible underneath the extra writing)
